Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

As an occupational therapist, I refer to all the tasks you do on a daily basis as Activities of Daily Living, or ADLs. These are the essential things you do each day, like getting out of bed, putting on socks, using the bathroom, brushing your teeth, taking a shower, or making a cup of coffee. While they may seem routine or automatic now, these tasks can become more challenging as we age or face health changes.

This is where occupational therapy can play a crucial role. I work with you to understand which ADLs have become more difficult, and I provide practical strategies, tools, or adaptive techniques to help you regain independence and improve your quality of life. Whether it's making small changes at home or learning new methods to manage tasks, I’m here to support you in living your life to the fullest, no matter the challenges.

My goal is to help you stay as independent as possible while ensuring you can continue doing the things that matter most to you. Call me today for a free consultation.
